William "Billy" Trout, 52, of Biloxi, Mississippi, formerly of Kingsley, Iowa, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2016 at a hospital in Biloxi. William "Billy" Scott Trout, of Biloxi, MS, a Kingsley Native, suffered a massive heart attack and passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Merit Health Hospital. He was 52 years young. On February 19 he celebrated 19 years with his LTR partner William Wilson and their pets, (5 dogs, 2 cats, and one cockatiel). He was born on April 25, 1963 to Donnie and Mary Trout (while vacationing) in Aurora, IL. He attended St. Michael's Catholic School in Kingsley, Iowa until 3rd grade when it closed; he then attended Kingsley-Pierson and graduated with the Class of 1981. In high school Billy loved band, music, theatre, and speech. In 1981 he joined the military, Army, and proudly served his country. In the Army he received recognition as a Rifle Marksman. His specialty training was Programmer/Analyst. Billy studied Business Administration and Business Management at American InterContinental University in Illinois. He lived in several southern states before settling in Indianapolis, IN; where he worked for Healthcare Claims Management as a Data Entry/IT Specialist. In 1998 Billy returned to his roots in Kingsley-Pierson. He loved living on the farm, his flower gardens, and his pets. He spent as much time as possible with his niece and nephews; sisters, and mother. He found great joy in programming computers for his family; and tending to his flowers. His favorite holiday was Christmas; never a holiday passed without Bill bringing extra guests to celebrate with the family. Beyond friends and family Bill's passion was raising awareness (acceptance) for the S.L.A.A.P. Community; he wrote and published many articles; receiving a Governor's Award. In 2007 his health deteriorated and he could not withstand the Iowa winters. In Spring of 2008 He moved to the Gulf of Mississippi, Surviving Hurricanes Fay (2008), Ida (2009), Bonnie & Five (2010) and Lee (2011), where he stayed and spent his last years enjoying the beautiful weather, sound of gushing waves, and his beloved pets. A unique soul, Billy was very funny, fun loving, extremely generous, and most caring. He lived his life to serve, protect, and help those in need. He will be greatly missed.
