Welcome to the Rohde Funeral Home website. Since being established in 2008, we have served the Kingsley, Pierson and surrounding communities with care and compassion. We understand that funerals are for the living and strive to provide a meaningful, individual service for every family we serve.

Alton and Marilyn Siecke established our funeral home after 45 years in the business and it is now carried on by their daughter, Tamera "Tami" Siecke-Rohde. After working as a registered nurse in the oncology field for over 30 years, she elected to go back to school to become a licensed funeral director, graduating October, 2010 from Des Moines Area Community College. Completing her internship in November 2011, Tami became a licensed funeral director in the state of Iowa. Mark graduated in 1985 from The Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science in Dallas, Texas. Following graduation he interned and worked in Vermillion, South Dakota for 10 years prior to moving to Kingsley, Iowa where he was associated with Michaelson-Earnest Funeral Home until 2007. Mark is licensed in both Iowa and South Dakota. In 2018, Tami became a licensed insurance agent in Iowa and began selling Homesteaders Pre-Need Funeral Insurance.

2012 brought the opportunity to move to a larger facility. Purchasing the building that had housed Kingsley Furniture located across the intersection from our previous building began our journey of remodeling. The remodeling process took six months which resulted in a beautiful, spacious facility that was open for business April 1, 2013. The available 7500 sq. ft. afforded us the opportunity to provide the community with a large chapel, very spacious lobby, separate funeral arrangement room, fellowship hall that seats up to 100 people and handicap bathrooms. We are able to conduct a full funeral service with these facilities with easy access from street level.
